Boyce is a native Mississippian with strong conservative Christian values who believes that pro-business energy policy is vital to national security and economic growth. Boyce is committed to serving the needs of the people of North Mississippi.

Currently he serves as an executive and a co-owner of BankTEL Systems. BankTEL is a leading technology software provider, with offices in Columbus and Tupelo, which provides financial software to more than 900 community banks and credit unions across the country.

Prior to this, Boyce served as a Presidential Appointee at the Federal Aviation Administration and at the White House under President George W. Bush. While at the White House he worked in the Office of Presidential Personnel focusing on presidential appointments to the energy regulatory institutions.

Boyce is a graduate of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Vanderbilt University where he was selected as an Ingram Scholar, a unique full-tuition program celebrating service to the community.
